Bright orange. You're a dive boat, you'll be parked, if I'm skipping along at 35knots I need to see you in plenty of time, you need me to see you in plenty of time. No limp flag, expecting me to see you at a mile away when you have divers down. Bright orange and a big flag!
Dull gray and a limp rag for a flag I'll likely take someone's head off 'cos I'll be passing too close too fast. Did I say...Bright orange!
Use a black attachment strip between the tubes and the hull to break the mismatch in colour.
