Help moving a rib...

Hi all,

This one's a long shot... I've just sourced a rib in Liverpool and need to get it to Cornwall asap.

Is there anyone who might be doing a return trip in that direction - or part of it - who might assist? Happy to contribute of course.

I can arrange transit but not until later next week and I really need to get hold of it sooner.

Boat is 6.5m on a braked trailer.

Any ideas are good ones!

Thanks,

Paul

If you use a shipper, try this dude:

Durham Couriers

I found him on shipley, he drove from Durham....to Inverness, picked up my 7m 2t boat, then delivered it to the Isle of Bute on the other side of Scotland. Then back to Durham. I think it was about £250, I ended up giving him £300 as I thought it was too cheap.

Falcon, I spoke with Durham Couriers... the incredibly helpful Graham us travelling to Surrey tomorrow and can go via Liverpool.

He'll have to collect before 8 in the morning; unfortunately I'm not sure I can get hold of the rib by then! Worth thinking about, though, in case it works for you.

LOLOLOL, yeah it was crazy, there was a bidding war going on on shipley, forcing the price down. Really nice guy too. I honestly gave him an extra £50 as I thought it was too cheap.

About the most helpful guy I've spoken to. Turns out the guy who runs the boatyard wasn't available today. Graham tried to get hold of him on my behalf and is collecting on Monday instead.
