Hello

I have a 4m Avon rib, My rib is in good condition but i think as the season is about to start it could do with a lick of paint. I want to know other than obviously marine type survial orange paint do i need any other special type of paint for both the hull and the deck etc...???

Thanks

its about 6 years since i painted one but i used polymarine flexipaint for hypalon ,bit expensive but if done right makes your boat look like new ,colours i used were orange ,black and grey .as all paints surface preperation make the day taking time to mask up fittings you dont want paint on , it usually dries off to touch within a few mins of application but allow to cure for a week or so before heavy usage i have only brushed it on but it can be sprayed .
