HELP with Evinrude Etec and Crowley Marine in Denver

We are yet again having serious problems with the service and availability of parts offered by Evinrude dealers on the south coast. I have come across this company in the states http://www.crowleymarine.com/

Does anyone have any experience good or bad?

Hi
I have used Crowley Marine twice for Mercury Spares - once for a full rebuild of the pivot shaft/bearings and associated gaskets, bolts etc etc.( lots of $'s but far less that UK £ - and easy to order from the parts diagrams/listings
Really good service and recommended based upon my personal experience
Jeff

Thanks guys, I can’t believe that nearly everything we now buy in has to come from overseas because the UK distributors and genuine dealers don’t hold stock.

We are genuine Tohatsu parts and service agents, we hold more stock than most also Tohatsu although they are on the smaller side are very good with their UK stock. In most cases if we don't have it they do so our clients can still get hands on parts within a few days.

What Tohatsu parts are you in need of?

that's good to hear, interesting that when people pick engine brand they will pick based on local dealer etc. but I've never heard anyone citing parts availability / leadtimes / stocking as a criterion.

None - I was just pointing out that most dealers of all brands don't want cash tied up in stock. Unless of course there is any overlap between the last yam 2 str 20 HP models and tohatsu - in which case I'd be interested to know what the cost of the carbs and exhaust parts to upgrade it to 25 HP.
