help with rib pump

Hi all, I purchased a boat that came with a jet rib tender. The make seems to be MAD. Has anybody heard of this make as I have no documentation whatsoever on the rib and have no pump either and would like to inflate the tubes slightly.

Thanks,

Chris

Most pumps come with the different attachments to go on the end.

Try a bravo manual pump Something like this:

Or this one: Inflatable Boat Rib Foot Pump Avon Zodiac Bravo 2 Air | eBay

I prefer these as they tend to last a bit longer than the up and down variety, especially if you get a bit over enthusiastic with the pumping! As Whisper says, these come with adaptors for the vast majority of RIBs out there.

Never heard of "Mad" RIBs before. Got a photo?

Thanks for the replies. I think that the connector is a proprietary twist and lock item that is why I was wondering if anybody has heard of these ribs. I guess the common connectors would not do. Thanks anyways.

If it's the twist and lock variety you need one of these:

Halkey Roberts, Quicksilver, Wetline, Honda, Valiant Inflate Adaptor - IBS Boat Supplies

Be aware that there are two sizes of HR valves. I think the newer one is a smaller diameter. Or shorter.

Pics here.
