Here she is

Just picked up a Tohatsu 5.7m with a tohatsu 70 on the back she's in good nick for 2004.

I paid £4400 for her I think that's a great price what do you guys think ? Bit of a step up from a SR4.

Wow. Took her out yesterday in 35-40mph winds of felixstowe. Big confused seas and I was amazed how well she handled. Very dry ride. Night and day difference between the sr4. The extra 2 meters makes all the difference. Hit 34 knots in the river with 2 up.

if thats as good in real life as it looks in the pictures its a real bargain. You can barely buy a tractor inner tube with paddles for £4k just now.

The thread is from 2017. Hence the price.

I bought the boat from Biglo, used it round the Solent and then from Plymouth. I sold it to a guy who kept it on a mooring outside his house on the river Yealm. not jealous at all.

Looks very sexy, shame about such a small motor, perhaps that's why it was so cheap.

Yes I know its an old post but so is the small engine!!!

It's a light boat with tubes mostly clear of the water at speed so didn't really need a 'big' motor.
I think I was getting around 33/34 knots one up, but I reckon something around 100hp would have been perfect on the back of it.

Have regretted selling it, it was easy to tow and would have been perfect for trips further afield.
