High 5 prop

Just fitted a 21" 5 blade to my Mercury Opti 225. It's had exactly the desired effect: I can cruise at 33 knots at 4100 rpm, and 4500 rpm gives 36/37 knots. Flat out will have to wait for calmer conditions.

What has surprised me is:

1. It still gets on to the plane really quickly, and the aggressive acceleration hasn't been lost.
2. The boat feels even better. Lots of grip, and stability.

Should pay for the prop in fuel savings this season!
