Historical Tide Data / 2004 Almanac

Does anyone know where I can find out tide times and heights for Southampton and Portsmouth for a particular date in 2004?

Maybe someone has an old almanac and would not mind looking up this info for me. We threw out our 2004 almanacs many years ago.

I need late afternoon/evening/night time and height of LW and HW for both ports for Friday 13th August 2004.

Thanks for any help in advance

Portsmouth
LW 1618 1.86
HW 2309 4.01

Summertime (+1hr)
Source Garmin Tidetables. Seems to be a discrepancy with Reeds

Doug can I pitch in on the back of this? I have my tidal books on the boats and have been asked to look at Southampton tides for the boat show as we operate in and out on demos and tides stop us occassionally. So with no tables at home, I am seeking HW and LW on 9-19th September at Southampton. Cheers

easy tide

Not impressed, thought it looked great, registered, then they charge for each prediction.

i use cams who publish tides for each day for menai bridge in anglesey for the year ahead.

surely in the modern wonderous world of technological web sites you can get tide predictions for free! there can't be that much work involved can there. It would bring a number of clicks to a site for marketing etc

You can get the next 7 days for free and you don't even need to register. You can also select the format of the tide graphs to see fine daily detail or weekly trend.

Have another go, you might get it right next time...

got the 7 days, i usually need longer than that though when planning a trip, so i registered and then was going to get charged. I'm tight like that!

whilst i can get tides for menai, the easy tide shows the tides in numerous locations where i might cruise to. I know i can work it out, but it looked a simple format to use quickly. But not to be.

You can have a month for free here: http://www.pol.ac.uk/ntslf/tidalp.html

The reason that most people are restricted to 7 days is the harmonic contants are "owned" by the UKHO who only license them for 7 day use f.o.c.

Where's that Doug? Just like buying a tide table but you get everywhere, much better value than paying a pound every time you look!

I have used this for the last few years.

I like it because you can set a "limit", which I've set for the minimum water I need to launch on the local slipway, then it tells me exactly what times I can launch and recover

I also use TideApp on the iPhone which is handy when away from my main PC.
