Holidays with boats and dogs!

I am currently looking to book a holiday destination in the UK. A holiday cottage on a waterway with a mooring or a slipway would be ideal. A nice hotel with similar facilities would be good too. I wondered if any of you have any suggestions. I have a Futura III and two Labradors, oh and a wife! The labs are not too bothered about luxury but the good lady wife is. All suggestions very welcome.

Don't know about Smithy Cot but the rest of what the 'boy' says I can vouch for as it is my home port

How about your own island in the middle of Poole Harbour, great scenery, close enouth to poole to go out and about and lots of wildlife.
