The same thing occurs on a 6.2 with the 135 Ficht on it, cured with an anchor and chain in the bow locker.

Thanks all,The steering is hydrolic and doesnt seem to have any play ,the engine is offset by exactly seven eigths of one inch ,the cavitation plate was level to the bottom of the hull (it handled simularly then but also leaned to the left) .I have raised the engine one hole' now it doesnt lean to left so bad and does seem to level when you trim up however the boat is able to go at least 55 mph .The boat is rated for 172 hp so by setting it up correctly i should at be able use the outboard to its best safely. So what do i need to do next.
