How far would you go ?
Just on are way back from a 1120 mile round trip from Southampton to the island of Islay to collect our new rib, we left at 11 last night and the sat nav says we should be home at around 9.30.
What's the longest you have ever done ?

That's a bit of a trip - I thought Manchester to Portsmouth was a long old trip!
Good Luck! Add some photos

When looking for our first rib we travelled to north Wales and stayed over the night before in a hotel only to find the Rib was 5 years older than what they said it was. When I told the owner he walked inside and slammed the door leaving us stood on his driveway.....
After about 5 mins we got in the car and traveled home, about £200 lighter for fuel and hotel cost and no rib

The furthest I've travelled for an ebay purchase was the East Coast of Spain. Took three weeks to sail the boat back to Southampton.

A couple of years ago I drove down to Southampton from North Yorkshire to collect a surf-ski, picked up a sib/outboard in Oxford & a windsurfer from Selby on the way home...........One of my more excessive ebay moments !!

thats quite a rib to be towing in the bad weather.
Have done Newcastle on Tyne to Helford several times, but
did Newcastle to Southampton and back in one day last month delivering the Rib to Ribshop and towing the empty trailer back (doesnt it count if the trailers empty?)

To be honest the roads have been really good , all around seemed to be chaos , but our route was fine , the worst was around the Birmingham area .
