Zodiac 340 acti-V with 15hp

I am new to this forum. Very impressed with what I have seen so far. I have a Zodiac 340 Acti-v with an old 1987 Mariner (yam version) 15hp, and whilst I haven't tried it with 3 adults on board I have had 2 big adult (I'm 90kg on a good day), 2 8 yr olds and a 5yr old and it still got up and moved very nicely. Yes it takes longer to get up on the plane but once there it really finds its legs and moves. The weight also helps in the rough stuff. I read on one of the threads that the little ones don't like the bumpier stuff, got to say that I disagree. mine love it.
I should say that I have a dofin (sp?) attached to my cav plate and this really helps lifting the back of the boat up over the hump when planing.
Good luck with your purchase. I would HIGHLY recommend spending the extra on launching wheels and a bravo pump that can do the floor as well (11.3psi in the acti-v). It makes the assembly and take down a doddle and means that I have no qualms about taking the boat out for the day and putting it away (after cleaning) at the end.
