How much is it worth? Avon Searider Sr4

Hey guys,

How much could I realistically expect to get for a Mid 80's Avon Searider, it's in pretty decent nick, appears to have had a repair about 3inches by 2inches on the hull, and the tubes are solid, hold air with only one patch. It's been converted to a console from the original two seat design too.

I've had it for sale for a little while with a non running engine on the back, with offers around £1250. How much could I expect to get for boat only?

Any thoughts guesses welcome as I know it's a pretty vague description and can be massive differences in prices!

Thanks in advance,
Guy

this time of the year, non running engine, hull been previously repaired, tube been patched ................. I think you'll be lucky to get £500 for it to be honest, unless you find someone who's up for a project, mighty be worth trying to get the engine sorted

Guy, Just read your original ad then the updated one with the engine a non-runner. The engine not running is key to this boat having some value as a useable but needs tidying type craft... given the engine was serviced just last month surely worth getting onto the service agents and seeking their help to get it sorted.

I might be interested at that kind of money. Give my lad something to play with over the winter!
