Watching this chap today reverse down the slip with engine down catching the Skeg and wondered why it wouldn't come off the trailer until someone told him 😂 he then blocked the slip for 30 mins while he parked the trailer then he started the engine tilted up and left it running for a few mins 😂😂

You always need to run the engine tilted up for 10-15 min, to warm it up before putting it in the water...

Helps to get the max revs straight away

Your local dealer will love you

RIBase
Waited my turn while WAFIs launched a couple of sailing dinghies yesterday on the west coast of Scotland. Offered to help, but they declined my offer. They lowered one of the dingies down the steepish slipway on the launching trailer with a Disco, on a rather long rope. Woman driving was going at quite a rate of knots then slammed on the brakes. I expected to see the dinghy launch like a torpedo! Few choice words were exchanged with her partner. I reminded my family not to stare. You see it all.
