How old is your Searider?

I have been told by Avon that the last three numbers of your serial number tells you the age of your boat. e.g.

serial number ending in 387 would have been built in March 1987

&

Serial number ending in 692 would have been built in June 1992

I've had 3 SR4's now 1987, 1990 & 1992 and I have been wondering what other ages are out there, who has the newest and who has the oldest etc

got mine around may 1998. I just spend 150+ hours giving it a facelift.
i build a new steering console with 62 liter fixed fuel tank, and remade all brackets on the A-frame to get enough space for 4 fishing rod holders. Now it's ready for the next 12 years :-) (however i would like to put a 90 HP Suzuki 2010 4 stroke on it)

April 1974. Still in excellent condition, and holds air, no leaks at all. Had new valves fitted about Fifteen years back, and had extra Hypalon glued on to the tops of the tubes to prevent wear from dragging ourselves back in the boat. We used it for diving, but its just used for fun these days.
