I would prep it and spray with decent 2k product

Personally I would only use acrythane but that's my preference but sticks like shi@ to a blanket

Proper route is gel and styrene mix but it's a skill full process to get right and expensive

Prep epoxy primer and acrythane dogs dangles trust me

How big is the area you need to do? I've done patches up to about 4 sq in as a novice with gel and it was straightforward.

Thanks.

I 180 grit with air sander applied gel in badly gouged areas, brush it on then put Sellotape over it. Till cured sand to shape again,

Mask off where req heavy coat of epoxy 2k primer 180 sand more primer 320 grit. 800 grit wet n dry with plenty soap in water flat for hrs
I first coat with thick mix orange peel effect, further sand 800 then nail it 5ltr acrythane or polyester top coat

Leave week then mop it to achieve a mint finish

Easy huh?

paint is applied at a thick viscosity (hardly any solvent added as thinning agent)
causing a lumpy textured finish if that makes any sence, helps fill any imperfections

Sorry mate no phone again I will ring you am promise,

The 21 had the hull sprayed in 2k paint before I purchased it,,

Honestly paint is fine and a lot less hassle I've done it so many times with mega results it's all in the prep, lucky for me we have a hell of a hi-ab truck at work and turning a craft over is dead easy ,,,, but I did the osprey on the trailer, I covered the trailer in grease just prior to shooting paint better than trying to mask it all off. There after just jet washed it off
