I did that to mine - no engine, and just the bare console - pump the toobs hard, and have a suitable lump of wood to catch it. (I founsd a pallet was just the right height to wedge between the deck & the upper toob - and with the planks going horizontally meant no point loading on the toob). SR & my Humber about the same beam, so should work OK.
It survived half an hour each side with a 400 grit flap disc on an angle grinder, so should be OK for what you're going to do!

I might have a go at de-rigging and flipping mine to finish the bottom then.
i think i will go grey on the deck and console again too. Orange is good for visibility but i think original colour in hindsight would be nicer.
were seariders ever made two tone like mine? ie orange deck/transom and grey bottom?

Weve done it a few times. I just tell my nipper to turn it upside down and it happens, but 2 normal people can do it easy.
We are going to look at the underside of Texas Flood next week. which is arse about face as we should have done that before having the desk flocoated and a new Osprey console glassed in. I'll take some pictures of how we do it and send them to you

I can't believe you would give the name T Flood to something made in Llanelli.

Naming anything after a Stevie Ray Vaughn Song is an honour, especially fitting that the finest rib in the world, was born in the Land of Song

Living in the Past
Is his first name Texas?.
I guess I could go to Couldn't Stand the Weather, Little Wing or Pride and Joy You choose

Sadly It's nearly Twenty years since he died! Strangely enough I met SRV and my wife on the same day.

As it's your beloved SR4.?, then there's surely only one of those that will do?
