How to seperate existing glued hypalon?

Im wondering how pro repairers seperate existing hypalon glued together?

Is there a chemical they use or do you manually have to lift it some how?

Heat will soften the glue and make it easier to separate. It takes more heat than you might think, but there is a fine line before causing damage from too much heat.

I used a hairdryer, about 10" away and apply slight force to the fabric as you are heating it. You will see that the glue becomes soft and you can see the glue get soft and then you pull the two pieces apart a small piece at a time.
