huge rib, Mudeford this weekend.....
Flippin massive rib at mudeford this weekend, must have been about 12m with twin hondas (i think - they were silver) on the back.......Is it anybodys on rib.net ? If so would you like to swap it for a very nice economic humber 5.3

I noticed it too - very nice , but at that size of boat a comment was made about having a cabin to make it more user freindly in all weathers ! - Why have 12m boat you can use an any weather - when you can get just as cold & wet in 5m !

Yeah. We did a hectic week on it. I did the back end rigging, wiring, hydraulics etc, and TD did the console end of things.

I can't remember what make the steering kit was (a good couple of years ago now) but it was a bit average to be honest. It was supplied by the owner. The hose ends were plated, and raw brass. I'm sure it all looks like shite by now.
A shame.

Believe it or not they have found braided hoses sometimes don't last as long as normal ones - the braid can end up puncturing the inner core!!!

The people who use them!!!
Yes a braided hose has it's advantages - better pressure as the hoses don't balloon and increased abrasion resistance but constant flexing can cause the braid to fail and puncture the inner.
