hull conversion

Could one convert an old speed but hull into a mould for a rib ?
Bearing in mind the plug would be altered by 50 percent.. or more ???

hull

Speed boat hulls do not look a very deep vee.

Will that make a difference in speed or stability .
Or both.

Will turning at speed be a problem if a speed boat hull is converted to a rib hull .
