After what seems like an age of searching for a searider (really wanted an SR4 ) and having lost out on a few. I then had my car tax me for a hefty repair bill. So down hearted I took my old Dunlop dinghy off the roof of my shed (with a mental note to fix the hole that it was covering) and see if the valves had suddenly started to hold air for longer than 2 hours. Half an hour later the dunlop was a quick fix for my shed roof once more.
I had another look on B&O and realised that after VHF's and some new life jackets I wasn't going to be able to afford much (it crossed my mind to sell a few kids but with the credit crunch I don't think I'd get much for them). Back on ebay I spotted a Humber 4m which I'd over looked when looking for an SR. Not the best RIb in the world but it's better than nowt says I and got it for not much at all. I pick up next Saturday.
I know the hull is a bit tara parma tompkinson but it will see me through until I get over this garage bill for the car.
Anyone any ideas what the max motor size will be on it?

Not sure how you could have more fun from £1500! She'll fly with that engine - 30 knots anyone? Luck and Health to enjoy. Keep us posted!

Well at least he's sorted the trailer out and has removed the piece about the age. I'm happy with what I've got now so good luck to him.
