Humber Avenger

I'm looking at possibly buying a Humber at the moment which looks like a good solid boat. A check on the serial number has revealed it to be a Humber Avenger 5.8 (1996) which was apparently a fore runner to the Ocean Pro. I can't find any reference to this model anywhere online. Does anyone have any knowledge?

norriehill,

Welcome to Ribnet!

As you say, unusual. Mine (albeit the smaller / narrower beam version) became the 5m/ 2m beam O-Pro but via being called the Attaque in between. Maybe at that time Humber named the wider beam version with a differnet name?

I called Humber to find out what I had just bought & it's transom capacity. Sue was really helpful . Might be worth giving them a call / email.

Thanks for that! I've just been out from a sea trial in it. Very impressive. Despite its age I think it's won my heart!
