Humber build quality

Hmmm, yes but who on earth has one of them? Like your thinking though.

In the first instance I've emailed them to ask what the underside will have been treated with in the manufacturing process. Let's see shall we.

What year manufacture was yours with bare underneath?

Ask Humber?
Given the serial number or date of manufacture I expect they will be able to tell you the build details or at least their policies in force at the time.
It would be good to hear their comments on this matter!

Then buy one of these USB endoscopes 5M Mini USB Borescope Endoscope Waterproof Inspection Snake Tube Camera UK | eBay
and stick it up yer drain hole!

Me! One of these:-

Handheld Video Optic Inspection Tool with LCD Display & Recording | Maplin

Invaluable for inspecting the inside of cylinders/boat hulls etc without dismantling. It's cheaper than a gasket set.

Colcreate, that's ace, £7.96, bargain. Strap it to some strong bendy stuff to get the angle.

Nos, be handy if you were near.

I bought one last year, they are sort of OK and should be good enough for looking up yer drain, nose, mouth etc. Yes tried all that and then took it out to the workshop and had a look inside an engine. The led light is dimmable but a bit crap the resolution is as adequate. For the price they are a no brainer. I've threaded cctv cables through a wall void recently which I just couldn't have done with out it. They can hold a slight bend but are not very stiff.

Will be cutting huge part off deck out later will post pics. It's shocking, really is,,,,,,,,!

To my knowledge this was rigged by humber from new and has done only 20 hrs, hull and tubes certainly look new
Cables are miles to long causing super stiff control movement due to amount of bends
Placed in the excess cable within the console ,
there is a bolt in the back side of the tank with silicon on it, guess some one used a huge drill bit when fitting the back rests,,, and in turn drilled through the plastimo tank,
Tank not even secured down to deck,,,,,
schoolboy error

Oh and the trailer appears to b under weight for this rig,, also supplied via humber as a package

So why hasn't the original owner gone back to them?

I'm curious to hear their view on the process, and would love to see your pics of the deck!

The rest is technically here say as we don't "know" what has happened re fit out or supply unless there is a receipt, however the deck is fundamentally in the build process.

There's a 10x5 sheet at ass end protected underneath,
sheet used at front is defo bare.
Or it is due to bad fitting of console lots of screws no seal with silicon around the holes, possibly caused it to de laminate through expansion contraction with weather freezing etc,, lots of shite in the hull so very possible. Even spare screws lol

Ed, glad you have successfully rebooted and you are back on your feet with another quality refurb

Paul, you better not stand anyway near the bow area on your boat as you might fall through the floor
