ok this started three weeks ago put 140 ltrs of fuel in launch in the straights played around by the light house fuel gauge reading half next moment i am out of fuel . RNLI TOWED ME BACK , YES NOT SOMETHING I AM PROUD OF BUT blamed the fuel gauge but the 140 ltrs are in the back of my mind these two etech s are heavy , so every time 400 ltrs went into the tank . full to the brim next was the fabulous trip to Ireland that was arranged by Tony i could not understand how it was possible to use £500 fuel to Ireland from Caernarfon and 500 back this weekend i was determent to find what the hell is going on
there s few hatches on the deck about 6 inches by 8 inches well not big enough to piss in never mind get your hands in there and you have to remove seats and panels well the fine people that build the boat decided to use a rubber hoses from the tank to half way connected to a stainless pipes by jubilee clips then back to rubber hoses before the fuel and water separator these are all under the deck
and all the hoses are split so the more fuel i put in the front the more get pumped out by bilge pumps , no wonder the bow was riding high if you had the plug in you got 200 ltrs of fuel sloshing about [ can you imagine if somebody smoked near this ]
This is for anybody that got a Humber with a build in fuel tank my advice get them replaced or checked out
