Hypalon - marks?

Would Rib Revive or Acetone remove these kind of marks from Hypalon?

The rubstrake itself isn't usually Hypalon. It could be PVC or some other material. I was told to try bleach/water mixture on [what looks to be] mold. A little stronger would be be acetone/MEK.

Acetone is as strong as you would probably want to go and in combo with maybe a magic eraser will do it. Maybe try Fairy Power Spray and nail brush or similar first.

RIBase
I wouldn't use acetone or MEK. It looks like mildew, if you're not careful with solvents, what happens is the solvent melts the surface of the material & mixes in the muck from the mildew & bonds it to the surface. The solvent evaporates, the surface sets & hey presto, a nice mildew paint job. I'd attack it with strong non-solvent cleaners like TFR or bleach.

On the Straik as opposed the Hypolon....if all else fails a little 600 wet and dry with soap/water will definatly work

Go to tesco or other supermarket and buy cillit bang black mould and mildew remover tried everything on my white vinyl seats this is the only thing that touched it . I bought it after a guy on here was posting everything he tried ie fairy power spray and all the like he posted photos of the results on a thread on here somewhere you may be able to find it. Once he tried this it worked as it did for me after his recommendation and expense.. Click image for larger version

I use the mould and mildew cleaner and it shifts it well. If after this you still have either marks or rough areas then I have used a very light wet and dry. They come up like new or "as smooth as a Columbian hookers belly" as one of my friends declared which is of course the sort of result you're after..
