I love mondays!!

After a weekend with the kids Monday is always good to kick back and let my back recover a little.

So lets start with my daughters first request to head out onto the lake for some sunrise and hunting eagle shots with her new lens. I'll let her pics explain that part (oh yes these were taken by her).

Next box to tick was to head out for a few snapper for a couple of old fellas who haven't been to well lately.

Funny thing was there were lots of salmon and tailor on the bottom in 60m of water among the snapper.

Then time for a quick dive inshore where we were lucky enough to come across a friendly turtle and giant cuttle fish.

Sunday was spent mostly spearfishing and hunting down lobsters. Georgia managed to get a nasty bite from a moray and I had to keep poking a snappy shark on the nose with my knife as I reached into a hole to pull out a couple of lobsters. We found a huge nest with around 40 large lobsters all to far in to reach!!

JonP resting!!

I can't help but think with that much out there to see in such a short time how much are we missing when we aren't out there.
