Hi everyone
Anybody know where I can get hold of watertight door dogs in the uk? The type seen on most ships etc that pull the door tightly close
Like the ones on this door

try Hercules engineering in Dartmouth they make complete watertight doors and hatches in aluminium

I have a hatch in the deck of my RIB. It used a square key to spin the mechanism, which then relied on friction to tighten/loosen the dog. It was a pain in the ass. I ended up removing the lock and plugging the hole. Now the hatch just sits in the well.
