Very strange coinceidence happened today. I was at the marina at North Shields and Ken and Mike sail in on their Scorpian on the penultimate stop of their round britain voyage. Anyway, long story cut short I am going to Felixstowe in the morning on their boat, that should cover the sea trial requirment and give me a good idea and feel for the scorpian.....

Will post with more news on my return..

Ollie

Hi Ollie

I rate the Ribcraft 7.8 offshore, may not be as fast in the smooth as a Scorpion but ive done some long solo passages, somtimes if poor conditions and i never felt like once like the Ribcraft was anywhere near its limits.

In fact I know where you can get one, a 2003 model, very high spec for 32K if your quick, mine

Great boats, just too big for me to tow.

Regards Gary
