Incoming storm

Some sound advice from RNLI with this great video. How many images will we see of people ignoring it and also reading about it ?

Great post and video Ian

One in the eye for those who question the competence of RNLI helmspersons

It looks very similar to the weekend when we didn't go to the Isle of Man a few years ago!

Our Humber Ocean Pro took it in its stride. Surfed it all the way in to Jura.

The pic looks like a reasonable sized coaster , so work out the height from the bottom of the wave trough to the crest !.

I don't remember having the comfort of a Gecko! Have your two friends ever stepped back on a boat since?

Lot of boat's AIS tracks speaking volumes, either running "racetracks" or swinging on hooks behind islands. Hope they all make it OK tonight. Wind is falling, but not calm yet and crews will be tired.....

Looks like bad weather all over, in one of the observations buoys in Baltic sea, tonight at 21:30 : Significant wave height 6.7 m and, highest individual waves to 12.1 m

Nothing like Atlantic but still not a nice place to be either in a rib or any other vessel.

Shooosh. You'll have our North Coast big wave heroes heading over with their T4/5s stuffed full of surfing boards, or worse, SUPs!

Nah, winds not in the right direction. They like it offshore and that's not today. Today is grind your soul to dust on the coast day.
