Inflatable repair nr Glasgow

A neighbour of mine (and this is a genuine person, not one of those 'I want advice but daren't admit it's for myself' scenarios) wants to know if there's anyone in west central Scotland who can repair the tubes on inflatable boats.

Apparently he's mangled a year-old yacht tender around a prop, which has resulted in the towing eye at the front being ripped from its place and also damaged one of the dividers between the various airtight compartments in the tubes.

Feel free to tell me this sounds like a 'chuck it away and buy a new one' situation. I'm just glad it's not my boat that it's happened to!

In one way, it is. One the other hand, I'd see it as an opportunity to attempt some SIB surgery at no financial risk! He can now make a cut where the towing eye is/was and attempt a repair. Also, if it's just a "shore taxi" then maybe a missing baffle isn't a major issue?
