Inflatable toys
Hi All,
I am looking for advise on the best toys for towing. Any ideas/recommendations. Also, does anyone have one they want to sell?
Cheers

I have a normal donut fron rage watersports i would sell .
We bought a biscuit like the flat one in the picture and its much better .
If its for young kids get one that will at least take 2 people as youngsters don't seem to like it alone .
To be honest they have been a 5 minute wonder .

Wasn't it the Manta that was banned in the US as it was so dangerous and people died falling off it?

We use 3 donuts, 2 either side std rope then the one in the centre is on a bungee rope, makes it a little interesting.
Last time we brought up the subject of inflatables (inflatable sheep) on here,Codprawn and Nos were getting a little too excited if i remember rightly!!
Correct me if i'm wrong!!!! Hee Hee

WEGO Kite tube, manufactured by SportsStuff, Inc.
Not really banned, but voluntarily recalled by the manufacturer (though, I believe, a Consumer Product Safety Comission recall was in the works.)

Yu also need to be a bit of a nutter to get on one, having a wash out at 30 knots sometimes feels like being kicked in the nuts and slapped in the face at the same time, but check this, ouch.

we,ve had a 5 man banana used it once children came off got winded and clashed heads bleeding noses now sold it never have one again .The U-tube we had may be more fun for large adults but not for children as they are to light and in the slightest wind takes off so no good and dangerous for kids.As said earlier best of all fun is by far two doughnuts or three sounds good money well spent.knee boards go down well very easey to use for all ages even i can use one two is good.Wake boarding is a lot harder good hunting

Being pulled along in an inflatable is a great laugh and in the main fairly safe fun, but believe me it duz urt when yu get it all wrong so not for those who don't like a bit of rough and tumble

Thanks for all the info, its really helpful.
As it is intended for kids to use it, some careful consideration is needed to avoid getting something that no one will use.
I am also looking to get into wakeboarding and ahead of all this i have bought and had put on one of turboswingshttp://www.turboswing.nl/. It is a fantastic idea, avoiding the need for a pole, which is difficult in a rib and in any boat can pull the boat to one side when turning under strain. This unit all stainless steel, bolts to the engine mountings and gives the needed height for a skier or board take off.
Cheers
Chris B
