info on a prestige ranger rib

any idea or info on this boat, its a cattamaran hull 16' long, told it was made in italy. wondering if it is a hypalon or pvc boat? just curious, thanks for any info

It looks like the boats come standard with PVC tube, hypalon seems to be an option.

Scott, If you open the prestige 475 on the left side and go to the bottom of the page, then click to the pdf "Technical Characteristics", and scroll down, they list hypalon tube as an option. The larger boats list hypalon as standard equipment. So by deduction, I am guessing the smaller boats have pvc as standard tubes. From what I've heard, a cat gives a great ride, requires less power. Don't know how they are in the rough.

I know Prestige, I had several ones, 470, 550 and 600.

No, all Italian Prestige cats are made in hypalon fabric - no pvc, they don't know how to work it ! And they don't like it.

Possibly south african Prestige could be made in pvc as an option, but I visited them 10 years ago, hypalon only !

The 470 is not the best, I think they become exciting to ride from the 550 and up.
