Well done both of you and I hope that along with my new EDF we never have to use them. [emoji106]

Agreed Jambo. In some ways seems odd to spend £90ish on something you hope not to use... but boating prep is full of such things.

yep it dosnt stop when you've bought the boat, engine, trailer there's a good £1000 worth of safety kit & PPE to be bought at least, but when the proverbial hits the fan its always the bit you haven't got thats needed in my experience.

LOL - life is full of such expenses. The reality is that you are paying for peace of mind. That's a tangible commodity in my book. The list is endless and includes:

  • Insurance - especially the Heath & Life variety
  • Spare wheels
  • Everything on the safety card on planes
  • Life jackets (especially those under your seat )
  • First Aid kits
  • Fire extinguishers
  • Fuel reserves
  • Home Invasion Defense Weapon...
...you get the drift!

Are you trying to sneak Mrs W's cat through your tax return as an essential safety item?
