insurance
Just changed my rib so phoned up craft insure to insure it as they did the old one.
I gave all the details to the chap in the (British) call centre, who didn't seem that bright but was helpful enough and he quoted me over £300 , I queried this as the old same length boat with the same engine was around £130 last year.
So he ran through the details again.........................
''So its a five foot long rib with a ninety horse power yamaha outboard''
Me ;- ''no, five metres long, not feet''
''Ah'' he says ''lets put that in then, oh yes that's better £132''
But their system actually quoted for a five foot rib with a ninety horse yam on it
If such a thing would float it would do about 150 mph !
