Is CE Certification A Big Deal???

Hi during my research into different ribs i have noticed some ribs are certified C and others B is this certification a true reflection of the ribs ability e.g. sea keeping etc and if so would it influence your choice of rib boat

No you shouldn't infer anything. Getting RCD Cat B is a lot more paperwork and expense than Cat C so some manufacturers don't bother. That doesn't necessarily say anything about the boat - although it might about the company!

I second what Poly said above.

The only time it could really be a problem is if the boat you're looking at doesn't have a CE plate at all when it should have.
