Is DF70 too heavy for my SR4.7
Would a Suzuki DF70 be too heavy for my Searider 4.7. Believe Suzuki weight is 155kg

The max transom weight for an SR4.7 with a longshaft transom is 265 lbs, which is around 120kg.

New Suzuki DF60 and Yamaha F60 weigh 110kg.
There's also the new Yamaha F70 which weighs in at 119kg. No idea of price, but it won't be cheap.
How quiet?

i just put a 90 HP ETEC on my SR4.7. It weighs 145 KG. I'm very happy about it.
However i did consider it for a long time, and ended up simulating it by adding the extra weight on my a-frame. Below threads illustrates my proces:
