Is it a rib
Been in France doing some race boat stuff. Got to have a look round this. I ask you. Is it a rib?

Judging by the quantity of duct tape in the cabin, it must be a member of the Searider genus, and thus has a bit of RIB DNA.

Nooo, it's holding the Comms Panel onto the rest of the boat
I'm puzzled by those fancy seats. Is that some sort of, um, "package adjuster" in the middle, or are the drivers just gluttons for punishment?

Its one of these .....as was about in the Solent when I took this pic on the day of the CTC race I think . an XSR35 or 37 or something ?
The more i think about it I am sure they did a hardcore version - with guns and stuff ...seen 'about somewhere near Poole' but of course no one who saw it knew who might be playing with it'

It's amazing how much money some people can afford to waist on wierd designer items, it's certainly not a rib though.

Well I did think it had an identity crisis but its still very nicely put together boat and probably just a tender anyway. Duct tape is the SS version

Seen from the side, it's got a slight Dornier look about it; their flying boats used to have big sponsons. Except for the fact it's got no wings, of course.

I'm sure I've seen it in a film before. Think it was called flight of the navigator.
