3 metres is too short to be a SR4M I agree but I don't reckon it's 3 metres.
As far as I know Avon have never made a 3m rib that will take a 50hp motor

The tube markings look a lot like this which was advertised on ebay a week or so a go as a Searider.
Anybody have an idea what year the last Searider was made?

They are still in production.
I think it's a 4m searider, but if someone rang him and asked for the HIN it'd be easy to tell. Worth not correcting him before you bid too

Hi Mat,The first project i bought from JBT marine is still as is.It will be a long term project .The plan will be to fit a large double stand up console and two single jockeys i bought from Barnet marine re floor it .and fit an engine and box.I have gone and bought a complete pac 22 from folly ribs last November and currently have the engine and stern drive stript and in pieces.I also just bought Nicks 5.4 searider with the hope to at least get onto the water this season so now i need an engine but that will i hope be a good one and bolt straight on So if thres a good reasonable 75 to 90 going anywhere with trim and tilt i,m your man

I had made provisional arrangements over the phone to pick it up today for £2850(bargain IMO if everything was as described!).
Unfortunately as I had a 200 mile trip to go get it someone got there before me
I did ask him if it was a Searider but he didn't have a clue what I was talking about When I asked him about the length he said he'd measured the internal length
Does anybody know of a similar outfit for up to around £3500?
ie. late model Searider or similar with a 50hp preferably in the south west

Yes i would be sad to it sounded very nice and a probable bargain why dont you phone them and ask for the number of the person who bought it maybe he has bought to sell on and maybe within your budget .I would be more than happy to look at it first for you as its not far from me.

From what I could gather I don't think it was a dealer he sold it to.
Thanks for the kind offer to go and take a look though PeterR, much appreciated
