JBT New Yard
Had a bimble over to Trafalgar Wharf last week..amazing site with masses of potential. Coming together nicely already and as VT are still on site, managed to snap a pic of an interesting piece of kit...well worth a trip over

I dropped into Trafalgar Wharf on Thursday to see JBT Marine in their new home. The idea is to turn part of the site into a RIB sales, maintenance and storage centre, and there's already an outboard motor repair specialist and a tube repairer renting space there. Good idea!

Much easier to get shafted in one location, cut's out all the travelling!

I got blanked by the guy from JBT when I was at Powertch last year. Wasn't a good first impression either and thought of a few choice names at the time
Where is real customer care these days?

Well that's what I'm talking about Codders.......Hot and Cold all the time. I've found out that boat related comanies are like the building trade, more so than any other businesses I've come across.

I'm trying to be charitable as its xmas & all that, they blanked me when I went to look at ribs a few years ago. I have since spent a fair amount on boats so I feel they had thier chance - I dont give second chances to commercial outfits - Its my money I'm spending & its not thier right to have it.
I was also not worthy for scorpion to speak to me - so thats them also off the list even if thier boats are supposed to be 1st class

I had a chat with a very, very apologetic Jonny Boys today at the Boat Show.
Jason aka RIVA no longer works for JBT, so we may well see a new approach. Time will tell . . .

Oh, I thought that Jason had a bigger role to play in JBT. He seemed very much the face of the company.
I would like to go down the yard sometime. I stopped in at Novatech the other day and would have liked a quick nose around.
Can one just turn up and ask to have a walk around then? It all seemed a bit secure still.

I'm sure it wouldn't be a problem, but probably best to call first. Maybe a RIBnet outing might be in order after all!

I have had several small dealings with JBT and to be honest the ones with Riva Jason always left a bad taste in your mouth. This feeling has also been voiced by several other poeple i have spoken to.I then had the PLEASEURE of dealing with Jonny .Jonny is has a lot of integrity and a fair man and should not be tarded due to someone who was obviously born in his opinion not to have to deal with joe public. So please give him the benifit/ time he deserves
