Hi all,
I looked round a jcraft 680 today. The tubes only extended beyond the transom by about 20cm. I've noticed that comparable ribeye and Avon boats extend about twice a far. Is there any advantage or longer or shorter tube extensions? Or is it just design preference? Any stability arguments etc?
