Don't know about JP Marine, but there are quite a few "boat builders" who are buying and rebadging Chinese and Korean made inflatables. Not saying it's a bad thing in and of itself; just that a "manufacturer" isn't necessarily building the boats.

There is a JP Marine brand of RIB in the Philippines, I do know for a fact it is built in China and CE certified. Now that is what I do want to know more about.....shat does CE ceritifed mean....the CE certification is suppose to be important for European market...

That is very true about Chinese products with CE stamped on it, but I did a search on the factory of the RIB boat and it truly does have a European CE Certificate....the Hypalon they use are ORCA from Italy and France, and the bonding agent too are from Europe, for their PVC tubes, it comes from Korea.

I have seen pictures of the factory, and yes they make for not only JPMarine, but also other brands that are Australian....I could see the brand name of the RIB boats all piled up in their warehouse....
