Just Brought a Zapcat

well the Sparrowhawk is still in rebuild phase and coming along slowly but i have just sold the jetski and noticed a mate was selling his zap cat. i have wanted one for around 10 years but never took the plunge and can't believe i didn't, its awesome.

needs few little bits like fuel pump rebuilding, foot straps replacing but boat is solid and has all the extras.

one thing i wanted to ask anyone who has these is do you know what foam is used on the floor and where i could get some more from?

Great pics and nice looking boat. Have you got a 50hp or 30hp on it?

Quite fancy one of these myself as well as the rib, as I know these are quick and would give a jetski a run for the money

My brother-in-laws Zap will do 45/50 mph, 50hp Tomatsu
My Ski RXP-RS 260 will do 70 mph

Zap cats are tons of fun, wheelies and they turn hard! - u just got to hang on

It's got the 50hp on it. Just want to put the prop guard on a worry if someone falls out they will get chopped up lol. Prop is very sharpClick image for larger version

Nice boat. Best I've got in my thundercat is 62mph to date, but theres more to come! Beats our big yamaha jetski
There's a bit of debate about the prop guards, I think the general concensus is that they are more dangerous than running without. Don't ask me how they got to that conclusion, but I think the worst injury in the history of zapcat racing is someone getting their arm stuck in the prop guard, whereas thundercat racing don't use prop guards and haven't had any problems.
