need good reports at the moment as i have taken the week of to play and the reports have been cr+p, apart from chimet, i use the good old bbc, am i being a prat?

Yes, if you are going into the Solent then Bramblemet is a much better bet.

Not at all - the BBC also have great tide info and well worth a look is the weather buoy data.
