Just in time before the price rise

Got in just before the holiday break and price rise.........
New Destroyer 5.8 with side by side console with windscreen and handrail, reinforced bow, underfloor trunking, anchor locker and seat patches ordered. Will be sitting on a De Graaf SB1500 which has been ordered to be built in time for hull delivery.
Need to source a good A frame as I didn't like the Humber ones and seat pods (probably Leeway) to fit out.
This will be fitted out for cruising on the west coast off Oban and area.
Busy buying electronics and parts now to be ready for delivery in March. Engine still undecided ( beyond current finances!)
Watch this space for yet another build thread!

Nicely done!!! What clinched the destroyer over the ocean pro in the end? Was it just down to cost?

Mostly cost, the two things the OP had that the destroyer didn't were the option for underfloor trunk and a little bit of extra width for seating.
Humber are doing the trunk on the Destroyer and I found seat pods narrower than Humbers with Leeway that will fit in nicely at £200-300 less than Humbers.
The extra £1k didn't look worth it, especially as I know the 5.8 Destroyer handles really well........

Tony,
it will be a while before it is finished but we'll have to arrange some more meets later in the year.
I am looking forward to getting out to more of the islands for runs with a bit more comfort than my Assault!
