Just another thought on this… it depends whether you want to store it onboard and use it to get to remote beaches you’ve anchored off.

Our hard-body Ocean Kayaks are brilliant fun, but far too big to store onboard our 6m+ RIB. We ended up buying a Sevylor Rio to sit in one of the lockers, we could then inflate it (with an electric pump) once we were anchored and use it to ferry back and forth and do a bit more exploring (and for the kids to mess about in of course).

It’s nowhere near as good as our Ocean Kayaks, but serves a useful purpose and is still a laugh for the kids. Probably won’t use it again now as the new boat has a T-top so will put some already inflated paddle boards on that for the same purpose…
