It certainly sticks. I'm on my second one. The first was damaged by a poorly set up trailer*. The second by pressure washing - OK it was a very good pressure washer and I was careless. It won't fall off if properly fitted but it's not indestructible.

* Saved my keel!

Mines stainless, I love it.

One of the reasons I'll probably keep the rib forever

Alternatively...don't ground the boat on unforgiving surfaces

It's hard not to if forced to boarding from the ramp. Weight goes on, bow goes down.

I like the idea of stainless, which I will look at, short term I will look at the sticky versions. From looking at the threads, there are different grades, I assume they are all fitted the same way.

How are they for removing, heat gun, hammer n chisel ???

Be careful with stainless as they are screwed in place. over time the scraping of the band will loosen screws and can make the holes in keel oval, this can cause ingress of water .
We have had a flexible keelband fitted by Rodella Ribs .
Nothing worse then a wavy band.
