Lake Garda

Hi All,

I am in the process of buying my first RIB, having chartered and used club rescue boats before.

We are heading to Lake Garda in August, for a sailing competition. We ar ehoping to take the RIB for 2 purposes

1. Safety boat for the event. Permit is organised by the club as it is in the no motorboat area of the lake.
2. Some fun and to see some of the rest of the lake.

I have looked at the rules and regs, which seem achievable, but wondered if anyone had done this. If so,

was it good?
Where did you launch?
where did you leave your boat overnight?
Where did you leave the trailer if you left the boat on the water overnight?

I don't have the boat yet, but hopefully have something sorted within the next 10 days or so thanks to the power of rib.net.

Toby

Lucky you, super place to have a rib. Is there an associated race sailing club that could help with slip, store and a mooring ?
