Lashing eyes for Motorcycle on RIB?

Does anyone on here keep a motorcycle on their RIB, I am interest in how to lash one down, eyes e.t.c. I am limited by room on my Searider 4 but think it is possible, would like to fit it this weekend.

Thanks,

Thanks,

It's not feasable on an SR4. You'll rip the floor up before you can tighten a ratchet strap down enough to hold a bike.

What sort of motorbike are you planning to use for this? Strikes me that the biggest problem is getting it on and off the RIB without dropping over the side! I
I wouldn't like to try it with my BMW, even though it is an "adventure" bike.

I want to take my Di Blasi R7E, moped DI BLASI mod R7E I take it a lot of the time on the 'mother ship' and take it ashore when moored up in a marina, as the SR4 is my tender to the mother ship I thought it would be useful if anchored up to take the motorcycle ashore on the tender (SR4), e.g. Alderney

There seem to be some very secure transom supports at the stern of the SR4 but I guess they may have plates laminated into the hull. Anyway weather looks pretty crap this weekend so I will have another week to play around

(film posed by models NOT me)

I wouldn't have thought the Di Blasi was much of a problem, it doesn't weigh much. i would have though it is small enough to stand up on the floor sideways and lash it to the back of the jockey seat with some padding round it to prevent damage?

My grandmother used to carry a bubble car, Triumph speed twin and an Aerial square 4 on her yacht in the 50/60's.

Fantastic idea, thanks, I have a stainless backrest on the SR4 so could easily attach to that, I was thinking about he bow area, but using existing frame will save any drilling and screwing

Motorcycle has been serviced and ready to go on the RIB, I have had a specialist make a cover for it using Sunbrella material

Mine will fit

Just measured up and mine will fit in front of the console if I remove two seats.
