Launch Sites & Cruising

Hi Guys,

Fairly new to Ribbing. Based in York & have been trailing out to Bridlinton South Beach for launching. Anyone got any info on east coast launch sites? Using a Honda CRV to tow.

Got a bit of a wimpy 4x4 system so no slime covered 1 in 3 cliffs! A gentle slipway, a friendly tractor driver, or somewhere I can rope it down off the tow bar please.

Also - anyone in the area looking for company out on the water? Most of my boating will be Humber to Hartlepool to start with. Maybe a trip or two up to Seahouses & St Abb's areas during the year. Open to suggestions. Can trail to meet up (just read this back - sounds like a dating ad).

Any information gratefully received and if you fancy the company of another boat out on the water drop us a line.

I am based in Newcastle would love to meet up. launch from Beadnell or straight out of the Tyne. Used to live in York and always wondered about the Ouse, is it interesting??

Hi

Humber Resue have a very good slip under the Humber Bridge on the North Bank, for about £5 they have a Park and Launch Service, just jump in your boat and they launch you, when you back they have the trailer in the water for you with their tractor.
