Launching around Anglesey/Holyhead please folks ????

Please feel free to move this thread to another forum if needs be.....

I used to launch a 6M Rib from Penryn Bay campsite (Valley lights in Holyhead...turn right and down there for a few miles) up until 4 years ago.....

Just bought myself a 8M Tornado and fancy coming over this weekend for a play.......has anyone any other info on nearby suitable launch sites ? I can't remember what Treaddur bay is like to launch from ? I'm launching with a LWB Shogun....and cost to launch isn't an issue

Mellow,We love trearrdur,but if the wether is right then you will que for the slip and its tidal and very steep.

Holyhead has a brill slip almost anytime exept at low water big springs.They say you need be a member,But here is the shake.

If you ring the club at Holyhead and offer to make an RNLI donation they will proberbly sort you out,If they like you.

If I remember correctly the guy to talk to is Tobby ? the boat man,He is a ribster himself,and a real nice guy.

He will be at the club house or Marina most days

Many thanks...I rang and offered a donation/charge and he was more than accomodating even suggesting I berth it overnight

We're also booked into a hotel opposite on his reccomendation so smiles all around
